Pegasus Performance H2F

Developing Human Performance Focused Leaders

What is H2F?

H2F is changing the culture of health and fitness in the Army to help meet the demands of modern combat. H2F empowers and equips Soldiers to take charge of their health, fitness, and well-being to optimize their individual performance while also preventing injury or disease.

H2F takes a holistic approach to fitness by addressing five readiness domains (physical, mental, nutrition, sleep, and spiritual), understanding that each domain impacts the others, so we need to educate our Soldiers and provide them the resources needed to maximize their performance on and off the battlefield.

Injury Control

Our injury prevention team is comprised of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Athletic Trainers to treat various musculoskeletal injuries/conditions: back pain & sciatica, foot & ankle pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, neck pain & headaches. Our goal is to treat injuries using the most up-to-date, research-based methods as well as provide soldiers with education to prevent injury from reoccurring.

Nutrition Readiness

Our comprehensive performance nutrition program, led by Registered Dietitians, Health Educators, and Nutrition Care Specialists, encompasses various components of foundational nutrition, chronic disease prevention, immune system enhancement, environmental task-specific nutrition, even fueling, and post-event recovery, arduous environment preparedness, and therapeutic nutrition.

Strength & Conditioning

From personalized training programs to group training services, we provide numerous options for optimizing soldier readiness. Our philosophy prioritizes athlete education, empowering soldiers to develop their own understanding of foundational training principles.

Mental Readiness

Our team of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapist Assistants, and Cognitive Enhancement Specialists focus on improving cognitive performance skills, mental and emotional skills, and interpersonal skills to optimize individual, team, and unit cohesion and performance. This is accomplished by addressing psychosocial, cognitive, physical, occupational, and environmental barriers.

Spiritual Readiness

Spiritual Readiness develops the connection that gives meaning and purpose to one’s life. It focuses on building the core values, beliefs, and identity unique to you but common to all, whether you are religious or not. It provides resilience in times of stress, hardship, and tragedy.
